Show Origins

We first entered the radio industry with a Phoenix-based program call “Autism Talks.” Autism Talks aired on KFNX for approximately 3 years and primarily dealt with topics related to the autism community. The show was very successful and made a positive impact locally.

This made us think, if we could expand our scope of interests, we could make positive contributions all across the country. This is where the foundation for The Giving Back Show began.

Through our relationships with the entertainment industry and professional sports; we were presented the opportunity to broadcast a nationally syndicated radio show that focuses on the endeavors of ALL charities.

The Giving Back is presented by Maxam, a private entity whose sole purpose is to provide sustaining funds to non-profit groups and charitable organizations. Maxam operates its own recording studio; as a result, participation on the radio show is FREE OF CHARGE.

Maxam president L’roy Anthony Hale is the father of a special needs child and founder of a non-profit foundation. Knowing firsthand the negative affects the struggling economy has had on non-profit groups and charitable organizations, not to mention its associated members; The Giving Back Show was created to assist the groups that provide so much to people nationwide.

The Giving Back Show is our effort to give back to our communities.
